This is a cool bit of news: Coach K has won the Wayman Tisdale Humanitarian Award.
Drew Shields, 2012 chairman of the Wayman Tisdale Freshman of the Year Award Advisory Board, said this to NewsOK.com: "[Krzyzewski] is one of the few people in college basketball to have accomplished as much off the court as he has on."
True enough: Coach K's philanthropic activities would be a full-time job for anyone else.
The ceremony takes place on April 16th in Oklahoma City.
