NCAA Set For Major Reform

It looks like the NCAA, perhaps embarrassed by the recent bevy of scandals, is getting serious about reform: any school with less than a 930 APR will not be invited to the tournament.

As you can see below, a number of schools, including three ACC schools, are either pushing their luck or already over the line. This includes UConn, as the Huskies have already lost two scholarships to APR regs in addition to the NCAA punishment recently handed down for violations.

Heck of a job, Calhoun.

You can imagine how the tournament would be affected if UConn, Syracuse, Ohio State, Purdue, Kansas State,  Iowa State and Oklahoma State were not eligible.

Among other things, the ACC would certainly get some of those spots.
