Give State some kudos for digging up an experienced point guard late in the process:Â Alex Johnson, who has or rather will graduate from Cal State Bakersfield, will help the Pack at the point for a year.
Unbeknownst to most East Coast fans, Bakersfield has a tremendous basketball tradition, though it is was in D-II, where they won national titles in 1993, 1994 and 1997.
