People are getting bent out of shape about DeAndre Daniels' failure to commit to a school. Having missed the deadline, he cannot sign a letter of intent.
Big whoop.
If he wants to go somewhere, he can pick up the phone and go, the day before school starts if necessary. The LOI is more for the school than the kid anyway.
But why wait?
One theory has it that he's angling for the NBA, that the one-and-done rule could be junked in the new labor agreement.
Well it's his life; if he wants to do that it's up to him.
Meanwhile, folks at places like Kansas are getting a bit tired of his refusal to be conventional. If he shows up in August, though, they'll be happy enough.
