It's only Game 1, but Miami's reputation took a hit when the Bulls hit them between the eyes with a metaphorical 2x4. Derrick Rose is the unquestionable star of the Bulls, but Duke products Carlos Boozer and Luol Deng had solid outings with Boozer hitting for 14 points and nine boards, while Deng racked up 21 points and seven boards of his own.
This is when the playoffs get fun. There's no question that LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh saw their dream team get humiliated - losing 103-82 will do that - but the real question is how they react in Game 2. That should be really interesting.
- Perfect game plan executed perfectly
- MVP scores 28, sparks 10-0 run that helps put Heat away
- His energy is contagious: 'Joakim brings energy every night'
- Steve Rosenbloom: Heat not match for Bulls' 2nd chance points
- Deng neutralizes James: 15 points on 5-for-15 shooting
- Bosh scores 30, but it's not nearly enough for Heat
- Bulls beat Heat 103-82 in Game 1
- Bulls' support helped Boozer break out of slump
