The biggest off-season story in the ACC has to be the wholesale overhaul of coaching.  Starting with the hire of Tony Bennett at Virginia in 2009, every school except Duke, UNC, Florida State and Virginia Tech have made a change, with Maryland's only the most recent.

In Atlanta, Ken Sugiura of the Journal-Constitution asked Jay Bilas his opinion of new Tech coach Brian Gregory.  As usual, Bilas had interesting things to say:

“His teams have always been very sound. They rebound very well because he emphasizes it and they look to run. He runs a similar break to what they run at Michigan State. He’s excellent at what I call special teams – out-of-bounds plays, great after a timeout. He’s really, really, really good.”
