As we learned Wednesday, Tyler Zeller and John Henson will return to UNC; Harrison Barnes is still undecided. Regardless of what Barnes does, with the additions of James McAdoo and P.J. Hairston and a presumably healthy Reggie Bullock, UNC will fill almost every weakness they had this year.
McAdoo is a superb talent and will play a lot of minutes; Hairston and Bullock will provide a lot of three point shooting, which really hurt the Heels this year. Give Henson 25 pounds and he goes from a skinny freak to a total freak. At least now you can shove him around. Those days will fade fast. Every pound he gains this off-season is going to be worth tens of thousands of dollars.
About the only thing they'll lack is a total shutdown perimeter defender, and by next season, Dexter Strickland may be ready for that role.
People are talking about Kentucky as the top rated team, but we don't think so. No one - and we mean no one - has an answer for a physically mature Henson.
