To an extent, we feel like anything we had to contribute in the lacrosse case is long ago and so we chose not to link to the news earlier this week about the three former players winning a legal argument about being able to sue former D.A. Mike Nifong and the city of Durham and the police department.
But that, coupled with Sunday's news of Crystal Mangum's latest arrest, makes it hard to take a pass:Â this time, Mangum is charged with stabbing her boyfriend, or assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.
She apparently stabbed him "several times," according to WRAL.
Presumably this time the evidence is not in dispute.
