We had some idea of how severe the Alabama tornadoes were, but until we saw the pictures, we couldn't know. It really puts the recent storms in Raleigh into perspective: as bad as this is, it's child's play compared to this.
Apparently it nearly ripped out Alabama's Bryant-Denny Stadium. Like Shaw, Alabama has canceled the rest of the semester. Here's a slide show from the Alabama student paper which is eye-opening to say the least.
