Although both teams have struggled, Georgia Tech and Miami put on an entertaining game Thursday night with Miami prevailing, 59-57.  It was Georgia Tech's 13th straight road loss.

No Games Until Saturday!
School Conf. Pct. Overall Pct.
Duke 7-1 .875 20-2 .909
North Carolina 6-1 .857 16-5 .762
Florida State 6-2 .750 16-6 .727
Virginia Tech 5-3 .625 15-6 .714
Clemson 4-4 .500 15-7 .682
Boston College 4-4 .500 14-8 .636
Maryland 4-4 .500 14-8 .636
Virginia 3-5 .375 12-10 .545
Georgia Tech 3-5 .375 10-11 .476
Miami 2-6 .250 13-9 .591
NC State 2-6 .250 12-10 .545
Wake Forest 1-6 .143 8-14 .364

Tech was down 20 but a full-court press flustered Miami and allowed Tech to come back. Iman Shumpert tried to tie the game on a drive with 9.8 left, but was called for charging.

Back home at the Thriller Dome meanwhile, fans are not exactly excited about this team and so Tech has slashed the price of the Clemson ticket to just $20.  An inability to sell tickets can't  bode well for Paul Hewitt's future.

How bad is State's season?  Caulton Tudor says it's about as bad as it can possibly get. And by that we mean historically bad.

One of the nicer surprises this season -- actually, one of the few nice surprises in the ACC this season in general -- has been the success of Danny Rubin. The Boston College rookie was an afterthought in recruiting, but has carved out a nice role for himself.

Duke obviously  took some great things away from the Maryland game, but what about Terps? Well, as of right now, they're firmly on the bubble.
