Chris Howerton, a student at UNC, wrote a letter to the Daily Tar Heel after Carolina's loss to Duke, at first talking about his emotional reaction to the loss, then concluding with this rather hilarious misfire: "Losing to Duke might cut my heart out, but at least I bleed Carolina blue. Thatâs a feeling those folks down the road will never have."
But Chris, that's sort of the point: we don't want to have that feeling. Ever.
We will however settle for cutting your heart out. And by the way, that's up the road to you.
