After Duke's lost to Florida State, a lot of people seem willing to write off the Devils. We go through something like this every year because Duke is expected to win basically everything all the time. Obviously that's unfair and unrealistic, but that's just the way things are.
Current criticisms are whirling around minutes played by Kyle Singler and Nolan Smith, and the inside game. The seniors proved capable of heavy minutes last season, so that criticism is kind of stupid. However, Duke probably does need to diversify the offense. But the critics are forgetting what Duke has been through time and again. They usually find a way to improve, often unconventionally. We'll see where things go soon enough.
