Wake Forest 0-2 .000 7-10 .412

Worth noting: Clemson has now won eight straight.

Also worth noting: Jerai Grant is really coming on. Recently, he's been a shotblocking fiend; against Georgia Tech, he also  racked up 20 points, missing just one field goal and one free throw along the way.

Pretty much the way the whole team played actually as Clemson nearly shot 70% for the game for their best ever shooting performance in an ACC game

The loss pushes Georgia Tech under .500.

Wake Forest's dreary season continues with  a home loss to Maryland.  This was made worse by the fact that Maryland didn't even play particularly well, but the Deacons couldn't take advantage.  It's looking like a long season in Winston-Salem.

Only one game on Thursday as Virginia Tech travels to Chapel Hill to take on the Tar Heels. This is actually a very interesting game as it pits one team -- Tech -- which has been decimated by injuries but showed a lot of character against another which is young but with a lot of potential.

It will be very interesting to see how the Tar Heels respond to Tech's traditionally physical defense.
