Cal Poly Pomona, the reigning DII champs, are coming to Cameron this fall.
Anyone who has seen the movie Rocky knows that there's always a chance, and a competitor who gets a crack at the top dog wants to do his best. So forgive us if we don't entirely believe it when coach Greg Kamansky says "[w]e don't have any misguided notions about this. We're not putting in a game plan for them and they aren't worried about us. It's all about us doing what we need to do to prepare for our first regular-season game."
True as far as it goes, and obviously Duke holds every advantage, but we don't expect them to come in and just roll over. They are a championship team, after all, and this is a shot at the big time. They'll come to play.
