Bobby Bowden is out promoting a new book and also talking about his departure from Florida State. Former president TK Wetherell, a huge booster of the football program and a former player himself, gave Bowden two choices: either he could become an ambassador coach with no responsibilities or be let go.
For Bowden to have his career ended by a former player must have been really galling.
