One of our favorite people (and readers) to keep up with is Alison Levine, who is what they used to call a mountaineer, although that's a limited definition for an amazing woman. We told you in June that she had made it to the summit of Everest, but what we didn't know was that she had completed the "Adventure Grand Slam": she's climbed the highest peak on every continent and skied to the North and South poles.
All of this from a woman 5'4" tall who weighs as much as two bags of rice and who started life with a serious heart defect.
We couldn't possibly more impressed.
