This was probably inevitable: Spike Lee has a fairly strong opinion on Lebron James's move to Miami. One point which should probably be underscored by this whole business is the diminished allure of the Knicks.
There's really no particularly compelling reason anymore for anyone to be a Knickerbocker unless you have a particular love of the city. Otherwise, things like ESPN and the web have leveled the playing field. The advantages you once had playing in New York are no longer as important as they used to be.
