One of the more unusual reversals in the Triangle recently is that while UNC took a major hit with the transfer of the Wear twins, and a secondary minor hit with the arrest of former football great Lawrence Taylor, State has been on a run. In one day this week, they got rid of unpopular Athletic Director Lee Fowler and signed high school star CJ Leslie. Leslie incidentally was notably not recruited much by UNC, partly perhaps because of some of his on court antics which some observers, including some coaches, found off-putting.
State's happy May may not yet be over: Sidney Lowe may still get a commitment from Rocky Mount's 6-6 Tashawn Mabry.
