Ole Miss's Murphy Holloway had hoped to transfer to Clemson, but Mississippi has denied him permission to transfer to either Clemson or South Carolina. There are some concerns, so far unsubstantiated, that Clemson tampered, and it's not surprising that Ole Miss won't release him to another SEC school.
Holloway says he plans to appeal.
