Some of you have asked us to name the people in our picture contests. We'll start doing that. For the Lakers picture defending Dr. J: Magic Johnson, Norm Nixon, Kurt Rambis, Jamaal Wilkes, and Kareem Abdul Jabbar. The airborne rebounder was Oscar Robertson. And Wednesday's picture was of Earl "the Goat" Manigault, the greatest talent lost to the game.
Oh, and Dr. J's curled fingers? That was from endless finger-tip push-ups.
