To the credit of Kansas University, they seem to be taking the highly embarrassing investigation into ticket scalping quite seriously. On the other hand however, they have little choice but to do so.
Unlike the typical NCAA investigation, Kansas is dealing with a criminal probe and the subpoena powers of government. If they are foolish enough to try to hide things, people will do time -- or more people, we should say.
Athletics Director Lew Perkins took responsibility, although understandably not for the alleged criminal acts.
Whatever comes of this, it's a huge blow to Kansas, a school which has always taken image very seriously.
