It sort of dawned on people over the last year or so that if Jon Scheyer doesn't make the NBA, that he's a natural to make it big in Israel.
Unbeknownst to many Americans, as is the case in the Philippines, basketball is simply huge in Israel, and as this writer suggests, he might well become the most popular player in the country.
