It's looking likely that the NBA's greatest rivalry will be renewed as both the Celtics and Lakers are rolling through the conference finals. The Celtics and Shelden Williams just destroyed JJ Redick's Magic team 94-71 in game three, and it really wasn't even that close.
However, in the eyes of many, Redick has established himself as a legitimate and solid NBA guard. He's been questioned a lot, but in the end his hard work appears to have won out. And, incidentally, so has Red Auerbach's opinion of Redick. You may remember he told people that Redick would be a better player than many of his doubters expected. Score one more for Auerbach.
