Looks like ESPN has won the bidding war for the ACC contract, beating out Fox, but not by that much. Total value: $155 million per year for football and basketball, well up from the previous $67 million average currently in place but well short of the SEC's huge media package.
The contract comes out to about $1.86 billion over 12 years. Fox's bid apparently pushed the deal from around $120 million a year up to the $155 million. Thanks Rupert!
