UNC's odds of landing Kadeem Jack probably went up when Kentucky got a commitment from Elroy Vargas, who started at Florida before transferring to a junior-college.
However, they're probably out of it with Marcus Thornton and Kevin Noreen, who, having previously signed letters of intent with ACC schools, would have to sit out an extra year.
