I wrote you a month or two ago, don't know if you remember it, but probably was the first to call that Duke could win the National Championship because of Brian Zoubek and Lance Thomas. This certainly came true, and this was a great team that exceeded all of our expectations.

I have been a Duke fan since I was a young boy in the early 1960's during the Vic Bubas era, and have always ate and slept Duke Basketball. I wanted to comment on Brian Zoubek and his season thus far. I have never witnessed any Duke player make the improvements he has, compared to his first three seasons, and he has been invaluable in helping Duke rise to one of the top 5 teams in College Basketball. His efforts of passing, stealing, rebounding and scoring have been a major plus, and we can't minimize the contributions of senior Lance Thomas as well, especially on defense. Of course without the "Big Three" we wouldn't be where we are at present, but make no mistake, because of Zoubek and Thomas this team is very capable of a National Championship.
