The Duke basketball team spent Wednesday at the North Carolina Governor's mansion, where they met not just Gov. Beverly Perdue, but also, to their great surprise, the logo, one Jerry West, who greatly honored the Duke program by saying this:
"The best thing about watching basketball (is) when you watch a bunch of guys who are so coordinated and play together. There wasn't one player who wouldn't help you win a game on any givean night. Most teams have one player get all the publicity. Mike, I think this is one of your best coaching jobs ever."
