Although no one from Duke has opted for the NBA yet, former Blue Devil Elliot Williams has committed to the draft. He will be hiring an agent and expects to go to between #20 and # 30.
Williams, as you will remember, left Duke to return home to be with his sick mother. An NBA salary would allow him to take good care of her, and there's a reasonable chance that he could be drafted by Memphis which allow him to be home a reasonable amount.
