Duke got rivalry week under way in a nice way with a dominating win over UNC Monday night, winning 79-51. They outrebounded the Heels 52-28, and placed six players in double figures.
We had to look for a while to find it, but, predictably, Sylvia Hatchell, who traditionally has one of the if not the the most physical teams in the conference, complained about the physical nature of the game. If it's February, and she's losing, it's time to bring in the pigskin boys:
"We're going to have to bring the football players in to do drills, it looks like, so we can put bodies on people."
If they lose to Duke in UNC, look for the football comment to resurface. It's not the first time.
