Here is a rather pessimistic view of what the future might hold for the Big East, unless, Jeff Jacobs maintains, they can't land TCU for the football side of the conference. But why would TCU want to join just for football? Wouldn't they prefer to be in an all-sports conference? And how does a school from Fort Worth fit in the Big East anyway?
The Big East continues to try to patch two different entities together, and it's not working very well.
