Here's Gary Parish's prediction for the ACC regular season race: Duke and UNC are 1-2 and he has the top six teams slated for NCAA action. Not making it are Clemson, B.C., Georgia Tech, Miami, Virginia, and Wake Forest.
First of all, he has Miami far too low. Miami could make the field and if Clemson adusts quickly, they might threaten too.
At Duke and Maryland, and to a lesser extent UNC, the coaches have had a long time to implement their system. So what happens when a new guy takes over? Well, at Wake with Jeff Bzdelik, like any new coach really, his first job is to win over his players. Sounds like Bzdelik has won that battle.
