A couple of big plays gave Georgia Tech the edge it needed to beat Duke in football, 30-20. Last season, though, Tech won 49-10.
Duke was in this game and with a little more experience, they might have stopped the crippling big plays. Realistically, though, when you have mostly freshmen and sophomores going up against established programs, there is a learning curve.
We're still excited about the football program and what David Cutcliffe has done. They play hard, they never quit, and they represent Duke like champions. The record will reflect it soon enough.
