After bailing on Duke, Tyler Adams has committed to Georgetown, feeling that it's a better fit. We're not sure we see it. He's basically a low-post guy and we're not sure how he fits into their Princeton-based offense. People tend to see Georgetown and still think of Ewing, Mourning, and Mutombo, but the new Georgetown is more about versatility. Think Jeff Green and Greg Monroe, even Roy Hibbert to an extent. It just doesn't seem like it's a natural fit.
That said, we're not knocking him, and we're fully cognizant that it's his decision and his life. If it makes sense to him, then by all means he's doing the right thing.
