While it may be, almost certainly is, more of a reflection on UNC than Duke, the fact that UNC is reviving their football street parade for the Duke/homecoming game surely reflects a bit on Duke's on-field improvements.
And in another bit of historical resonance, 'Bama is coming to Wallace Wade next season. There is an important historical connection between the two of course, as Wallace Wade built Alabama into a power before doing the same in Durham. It's really impressive that Duke has persuaded them to play in Durham. We'd love to know the story behind that.
