It is absolutely amazing how completely and totally Christian Laettner got inside the collective head of the state of Kentucky.
Take the example of Attorney General Jack Conway, who would like to be the next senator from the Commonwealth.
When his opponent in the Democratic primary pointed out that Conway is a Duke grad (hardly news), he said that if that bothered anyone, he would let former Kentucky coach Joe B. Hall stomp on his chest.
