Chess is a phenomenal game, with life and death metaphors and implications at every turn. It takes true genius to master it, and the fact that we once lost a game in three moves does nothing to diminish our respect for those who grok it. So hats off to Duke student Lev Milman, who has achieved the status of Grandmaster. It's a remarkable achievement. Just please don't play us.
