ACC Football Kickoff started Sunday, and for Duke, there is considerable more optimism than usual.
Here's just one simple measure of the improvement: the entire staff is back. That hasn't happened in a long time at Duke.
Vince Oghobaase for one is pleased about that.
One of the bigger issues at the family get-together is TV. The SEC contract now dwarfs the ACC's to the point of almost being ridiculous. Perhaps it underscores the argument behind expansion. Either way, the SEC is now getting about $10 million more per school. That's huge.
The ACC is apparently considering a package deal with the Pac-10.
In other news, Thaddeus Lewis is pumped about facility improvements. Apparently he'd gotten an earful from women who braved the old bathrooms.
