Sidney Lowe has taken some heat over his recruiting, but he's done better lately, to say the least. This year's class is pretty solid, and he got ahead of the curve on Ryan Harrow, who sounds like he's going to be pretty good.
Here are some notes on other players who did well in the TOC. The guy who might have done the best is Chris Jones, who came in with no reputation to speak of and left with Bob Gibbons comparing his shooting stroke to that of J.J. Redick.
He's out of Memphis, and you can reasonably expect John Calipari to take a look, but here's the rub: a lot of people in Memphis are angry about how he handled his departure. It'll be interesting to see how that affects any recruits he pursues in the Bluff City.
