We're sorry to see this: Duke football great T Moorman has died at 69. We were familiar with his career - he was one of Duke's finest tight ends - but we weren't aware that he volunteered for medical service in Vietnam, nor were we aware that after his medical degree he went back to law school and went to work for the Army Department of Legal Medicine, Armed Forces Institute of Pathology.
For most of us, he's a Duke football player, but obviously, his life was rich and interesting and highly productive.
