Duke's spring football game is Saturday, and it'll be an interesting measure of the progress under David Cutcliffe. Last fall, he pretty much picked up the football program and turned it upside down. Think about it: this team went from 1-10 to 4-7, and were about three plays short of a bowl game, and put the fear of God into Virginia Tech. What happens next?
Whatever happens, we're guessing he's convinced them that they are a real football team, and they'll be treated as such. Conditioning and expectations are completely different. Whatever the record ends up being, we're guessing they'll be increasingly tough-minded.
