A sad day for old-school ballplayers and the Bulls as Norm Van Lier and Johnny Kerr both passed away. Kerr was with the Bulls from the beginning and was a legend in his hometown of Chicago. And Van Lier was a phenomenally intense guard. He and Jerry Sloan defined toughness and no doubt pushed each other on a daily basis.
