Obviously the big news is Nolan Smith's status after the Maryland game. As you no doubt have heard, he suffered a concussion and is sidelined for the moment.  It's not clear how long he'll be out. We'd be interested to hear from someone with medical training who might offer an informed opinion.
As intense as the Maryland game was, it doesn't figure to get any easier this weekend in Blacksburg. The Hokies are not quite as focused on Duke as Maryland is, but they're not far behind.
Finally, Andrew Jones is impressed with how Duke has changed since Elliot Williams moved into the starting lineup.
