We have always admired Tommy Amaker. He is smart, talented, and immensely capable. We don't know the full details of why he booted five guys off the Harvard team - apparently it is to make room for his own recruits - but it seems to us that Kyle Fitzgerald is correct, that it would have been much, much better to have told them earlier so that they could have transferred without losing a season. Harvard, like Duke, asks for a serious commitment from their athletes. It should be reciprocated.
