Swofford, Others On State Of The ACC

There are some pretty different opinions about the state of the ACC, post-expansion. John Swofford gave his on Tuesday, and says he's happy. Cash-wise, things are good.  Football and basketball are both under the weather, so to speak.  It would help in football if Miami could get going, and if Bobby Bowden would go ahead and call it a career.

The expansion schools B.C. and Virginia Tech have delivered in football, and, for the most part, in basketball.  Miami is coming on in basketball too.  In general, though, the ACC could be doing better in both sports, and probably will be.
