If we're not mistaken, 100 years ago today Bill Werber's parents welcomed him to the world. Theodore Roosevelt was President, the Kaiser was on the throne in Germany, and most of Africa and Asia still chafed under a colonial yoke. Ford Motor Company was five years old; Alaska and Hawaii were about 50 years away from statehood.
