We're a bit suprised to read this, but Senator Ted Kennedy is having brain surgery at Duke this morning. We say surprised because Boston is a place with great medical resources and New York is as well and is much closer. But Duke has Dr. Allan Friedman, who is one of the best neurosurgeons around.It's a grim situation - the survival rate for Kennedy's disease is quite low. But we're sure everyone would join us in wishing him and his family well in this time of great concern.
