Some Olympic Notes

Stan McNeal of the Sporting News thinks that Jerry Colangelo and Coach K have put together a pretty good basic roster for the Olympics. He argues - correctly - that no one can match the quartet of Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Dwight Howard and Carmelo Anthony.

The question, or questions, are still not about talent. The questions are about teamwork, adapting to the international game, and forcing teams to deal with the strengths that the U.S. brings to the table: a level of athleticism that can run other teams out of the gym.

If the U.S. can master Krzyzewski's trademark defensive pressure, and can disrupt other teams offenses, they'll be a very tough team to beat.
