Mike DeCourcy has some rather pointed comments about the ACC considering an 18-game slate as a way to get more teams in the tournament. He's basically right: you want in, you have to win, and you have to beat Duke and UNC. Well, you don't have to, but it gives you some credibility to do it.
It's May, and around here, that's close enough to the season to start speculating. So have at it, Caulton Tudor! As just mentioned, Duke and UNC are 1-2, and Wake, with their nifty players returning and a huge class coming in, should be ready to make a move. We'll have to mull on the rest for a bit. But really a poor manâs Javaris Crittenton? Is that a nice thing to say?
