Spooked by a recent paucity of bids, the ACC is considering expanding to an 18-game season. Okay, but since only one team made any noise in the tournament, by what logic would more mediocre teams make a difference?
If the ACC wants to start thinking along these lines, try a holiday tournament with ACC teams and ranked opponents, and let the league rack up some meaningful victories. Or they could lean on everyone to stop scheduling Elon and other pushovers.
