Miles Plumlee has formally asked Stanford for a release from his letter of intent. His father says that while the family knew Dawkins was negotiating with Stanford, that hadn't changed their position.
Plumlee's high school coach says that the family grew disenchanted by the lack of communication from Stanford after Trent Johnson left for LSU, according to the Citizen-Times of Asheville. No word yet on his destination, assuming he gets his release.
